When it come to denim on denim most would say: no, but if done right it can be super chic. I’m obsessed with denim and if I can be dripped down in denim everyday I would, but that’s just me. Canadian tuxedo is another name for it.
Tips on pulling off denim on denim
- Vary the type of denims per piece, it doesn’t need to be matchy matchy. Try a distressed jacket with a plain jean or different color denims; as I did below with a white denim jacket and some blue jeans that had a white wash detail.
2. Do not add denim accessories to your denim on denim outfit. Instead, add a pop of color in your accessories ( a bold bag and shoe will do the trick).
3. A chambray button down is an excellent staple piece and will always pair nice with any denim bottom that you choose. Below are some of my favorite denim on denim looks.
